The Failure of the Churches

What You Think is True Might not be True

The Hidden Message

Mark 16:15
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Very few churches today actually know what the real Gospel is.

The verse above is either left out of some of the modern translations, (or has doubt cast upon it by saying that it isn’t included in The Most Authoritative  Manuscripts” which is totally false information) so that most people today don’t regard this as important. The problem with that is, that the “most reliable” manuscripts contradict themselves within themselves or contradict one another thousands of times.Surprisingly most reasonable theologians know this, but have chosen to ignore that fact. This is only the tip-of the ice berg.

The Whole Message

Mark 16:15-20

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

There is plenty of reliable and solid evidence that points to the fact that these verses were included in Mark when it was written and over 2 thousand supporting pieces of evidence have been uncovered.

Confirmation By Tangible Signs

The great majority of the churches have failed God by not emphasizing signs wonders and miracles. Most people today do not expect God to work miracles in their lives. Some are even told that God does not do that anymore and that they just have to bear the burden of their hardships in life.

The churches do not emphasize the idea of confirming signs, but expect you to believe in God and Jesus with blind faith. That is an interesting concept because it is 100% against what God planned for “The Church”

Let Us Help

I am the Lord God that Heals You

Exodus 15:26
26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Psalm 103:2-5

2Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;
who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;
who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things;
so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

How many “Christians” today expect to be healed by God? Very few that we have encountered, which is sad. Churches do not emphasize this, and yet healing was the most important way that he got the people’s attention and put them in a position of listening to the Gospel message. The churches have failed God in this aspect of getting people’s attention, but also demonstrating the amazing power of healing to the world.

We hear of people that have read the Bible and wonder why the miracles that they read about in the Bible are not happening today.

Do you wonder about that?

Your Needs in Life

Philippians 4:19
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Many churches today are heavily involved in charitable works, and think that this is what Jesus talked about at length. He really didn’t do that, but he did demonstrate that it was in his power to meet the need if it was required.

Matt 14:17

17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. 18 He said, Bring them hither to me. 19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. 20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. 21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children..

From 5 loaves and 2 fish Jesus was able to feed 5000 and have 12 baskets of food left over. On that principle of multiplication you could live the rest of your life on leftovers

God fed the whole nation of Israel for 40 years while they were in the wilderness with food that sustained them. He also stopped their clothes and footwear from wearing out. He protected them from their enemies.

God has never said he would stop doing these things. Our problem is not God’s promises, but it is the churches that don’t believe them, thereby causing people that go to these churches to also not believe them.

This indoctrination of unbelief is caused in many ways.

What do you Deserve?

The reality of that question is that in the unsaved state you deserve nothing, and churches often reinforce that thinking. If you continually hear that you deserve nothing, then you will expect nothing, and guess what you get? Nothing.

Some people get a few things happen in their lives and recognize the miracle for what it is, but they are few and far between in most churches. How many times do you hear of someone getting up in a church and telling about the miracles in their lives? Not at all more than likely. I seriously doubt you would be asked probably because it might be thought that it would make others feel “inadequate”

People were healed during the time of Jesus’ ministry, why? because they saw him heal people, or they heard about what he had done in other people’s lives and went to him to get what others had received. It was one of the most effective advertising campaigns ever devised, and wasn’t to sell anything it was to reveal to the people of Jesus’ time just what the nation of Israel had forgotten about what God had promised to them, so he demonstrated to the people of the day what the failure of the religious leaders was.

“John 12:48
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day..”

the number one thing that needs to be remembered  is that God’s word takes precedence over any of man’s ideas

There are dire punishments for leaving  stuff out, or adding stuff to God’s Word

Revelation 22:19-21

19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Theologians have taken away things from God’s word because of their natural “wisdom”. Churches have not necessarily taken things  away, but they have seriously diminished the importance of many things in God’s word, the most offense is diminishment of the Gospel message, and the truth contained in it.

They have added their own formulae for salvation that God never talked about in his word, so their crimes against God’s word are egregious and they will have to answer for their deceptions.

We have constantly challenged people over the churches salvation messages, and they are amazed to find out that what the churches are actually saying are not in the Bible.

Our advice is this.

Don’t take anyone’s word for the salvation message that they are telling you, especially a church leader or member but check it out for yourself in your own Bible. You might be surprised what you will either find, or not find.

The formula for salvation has never changed, no matter what anyone says. God’s word (the Bible) is above man’s ideas and doctrines, and this is how the first church began. Nothing has changed, Why? because it is God’s Word, not man’s ideas.

Acts 2:38-39
38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

God is still calling people to be saved the same way as they were saved on the day of pentecost. Don’t be cheated out of the thing that is the absolutely most important thing you can do for yourself and possibly others.
